SCORING

Each team's starting lineup consists of:

1 Quarterback
2 Running Backs
3 Wide Receivers (or tight ends)
1 Kicker

Any touchdown (passing, receiving, running, returning) is 6 points.
Any two-point conversion (passing, receiving, running) is 2 points.
Any field goal is 3 points.
Any extra point is 1 point.

This league is head-to-head, meaning you have a single opponent each week and standings are based on win-loss.

There are no regular season ties (playoff games are determined by highest seed). The regular season tiebreakers are as follows:

1. Least kicker points needed
2. Total QB+RB+WR passing/rushing/receiving/return yards (in game)
3. QB yards (in game)
4. RB yards (in game)
5. WR yards (in game)
6. Coin Toss

ROSTERS

The players on your roster will be used at whatever position (QB/RB/WR/K) they are listed at on nfl.com. If our website does not match nfl.com, please let me know so I can update our website.

STARTING LINEUP DEADLINE

The starting lineups will be due 1 hour before the first game of the weekend kicks off. If a team fails to submit their lineup by the deadline, then the lineup from the previous week will automatically be used.

TRADES

Any trades agreed upon by 2 owners can be made. Any trade that is agreed upon must be emailed to the commissioner by ALL teams involved. Any trade that is made must be submitted by the starting lineup deadline, or it won't take effect until the next week. Trades can include players, options or future draft picks.

You cannot trade for a player that you traded away within the past calendar year unless at least 3 other owners approve it (this is to help eliminate the "borrowing" of players).

The trading deadline each year is BEFORE Week 10. The actual deadline will be the same deadline as the Starting Lineup deadline for that week. After this deadline has passed, there will not be any more trading until after the "keepers" are selected before the next season.

The commissioner has the right to veto any trade that since there are cash prizes.

DRAFT

In the offseason, after the NFL draft, we have a 3-round rookie draft. You may only draft players that were drafted by NFL teams during that draft.

Before the rookie draft, we select keepers. You can keep up to 12 players. There is no compensation for keeping less than 12 players.

For the rookie draft, there is a draft lottery for the top 4 picks. Using the following odds, we select picks 1 thru 3 (and thus 4): #10 team - 40%, #9 team - 30%, #8 team - 20%, #7 team - 10%.

After the rookie draft, we have a 3-round "scrub" draft. You may draft any NFL players that are not on OFL rosters.

We use the NFL's system for putting the playoff teams in their corresponding draft order as follows:

The OFL Champion will be given the last pick and the runner-up will be given the second-to-last pick. As for the playoff teams, any ties will be broken first by who gets furthest in the playoffs (team that gets furthest gets worse pick). After that, our regular-season tiebreaker method will be used.

For email drafts, once your pick comes up, you have 24 hours to make your pick. Once your deadline has passed, the next team is on the clock and can make their pick. You remain on the clock indefinetely and can pick when you are ready, but teams behind you can continue picking while you're on the clock. (Note: you don't lose the pick; rather, the draft continues as if you had made a pick, and you can come in at any time and make that pick). If you have back-to-back picks, you have 24 hours to make the first pick, and another 24 hours to make the second pick (not 24 hours combined for both).

OPTIONS

Each year, a team will get three option numbers. These will be determined as follows: The team finishing with the worst record in the league will get options #1, #11, and #21, the team with the second-worst record will get #2, #12, #22, etc., while the team with the best record will get #10, #20, #30. After the draft, you can use your options at any time during the season. The purpose of these options is to pick up more players that went undrafted. The highest option received for a given player gets him (#1 option is highest, #30 is lowest). For example, if 3 teams wanted to get the same player in the same week, we'll say Team A used their option #14, Team B used option #8, and Team C used option #5. Team C would get the player and their #5 option would be used. Team A and Team C would keep their options (#14 and #8) since they were not used.

Options cannot be used once the regular season ends.

Options can be submitted on your teampage. The deadline to do so is 11 PM EST on the night before the first NFL game of that weekend.

PLAYOFFS

The season is 13 games: 2 each against division rivals, 1 each against other division opponents.

6 out of 10 teams make the playoffs: the 2 division winners, and 4 wild-cards. The two division winners become the #1 and #2 seeds and get first-round byes.

In each round of the playoffs, the highest seed gets to choose his opponent from the other remaining teams that are to play that week (you cannot choose a team that is on a bye week). The deadline for choosing your opponent is Wednesday morning at 9am Eastern, or else you get the lowest-seeded opponent by default.

In case of a tie between two or more teams in the standings, the tie-breakers are as follows:

1. Head-To-Head (whoever has the better record in the games they played against each other in the regular season).
2. If the tie-breaker is for a division title, best record vs the division
3. Most points scored during the season.
4. Most points scored head-to-head (measured as points per game).
5. Best record vs. .500 and over teams
6. Hottest team (consecutive wins) at the end of the year (minimum 1 game)
7. Coin-toss.

In the case of head-to-head tiebreakers, a 2-1 record is better than 3-2 due to the winning percentage (.667 vs. .600).

Further, if, for example, 4 teams are tied, and in head-to-head they happen to be 3-1, 2-2, 2-2, and 1-3, then the next tie-breaker to break the 2nd and 3rd team tie goes to tie-breaker #2, not back to #1. So if #2 was 1-0 against #3, it doesn't matter; the tie-breaker goes to total season points.

Also, if, for example, 3 teams are tied, and in head-to-head they were 2-1, 1-1, and 1-2, those teams will rank #1, #2, and #3 in that order. No further tie-breakers are needed.

In case of a tie in the playoffs, the team with the better record (including tie-breaks if necessary) gets the win.

The last place team in the standings is subject to having their team name and logo changed by the league for the next season. The champion gets to rename the divisions for the coming year.

MONEY

To keep it competitive, at the beginning of each season each ownerwill send in $20 that goes in a pot. Prizes depend on the number of teams andwill be determined before each season.  In case of a tie for the regular season winner, a tie-breaker will be used (the money will not be split).

Champion - $100
Best regular-season record (must be a division winner)- $60
Other division winner (not $60 winner) - $40
